The Danish Society for Neuroscience has received funding from the Lundbeckfoundation for a number of scholarstipends.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS January 15, 2022

The scholarstipends are for students within the natural sciences.

A full stipend (120.000 DKK covers one year salary and 20.000 DKK running costs) to support pre-graduate training in neuroscience. The purpose is to offer, to the best and most promising students, working on their master thesis project or a sabbatical/intern research project, the opportunity to dedicate extra time to the project. Stipends can be given for 6-12 months.

Application:

The students together with her/his supervisor defines the research project which is to be conducted at a Danish research institution.

The project description should include background, aim/hypothesis, project plan, time plan and references. If the scholarship period is combined with the master thesis project it should include a time plan for both parts as well as the proposed progress obtained by the additional months provided by the scholarship.

The scholarship should be initiated no later than May 2022.

It is epected that the student will get insight into project design, technical skills related to the research project, manuscript preparation, and at the end of the project reports to DSfN.

Formal requirements:

Only students enrolled as full-time student at a university can be the recipient of a scholarstipend, and the student must satisfy all other requirements given by the research institution that will administer the sholarstipend.
